What actually happened

The segment raised questions about Pelosi's behavior that fed online speculation about the attack. Police accounts said Pelosi had called 911 and let officers in. NBC pulled the report the same day, adding a note that it did not meet the network's reporting standards and should not have aired. The correspondent was later suspended.
