After the DOJ Inspector General's FISA report, Blake wrote a Post analysis, 'the vindication of the Nunes memo, sort of,' saying the Republican memo was closer to the truth than most had credited.

Co-wrote analysis putting Trump's chances 'approaching zero'
With Chris Cillizza, Blake wrote an Oct. 24, 2016 Fix analysis reading the state polls as leaving Trump almost no path to 270 electoral votes. Trump won. This was a forecast that proved wrong, not a published correction.
