What was reported

Prime-time host Trish Regan ran an on-screen graphic reading 'Coronavirus Impeachment Scam' and argued that criticism of Trump's response was another attempt to impeach him.

What actually happened

The segment aired the day the Dow plunged, as the outbreak was accelerating, and was widely criticized, including in contrast to Tucker Carlson's warning the same night. Fox Business put Regan's show on hiatus after March 12 and parted ways with her later that month; the network did not publicly tie the decision to the segment.

The proof

The pandemic's subsequent course, and Fox Business' removal of the show from its lineup within days.
