What was reported

On CNN, Rep. Steve Cohen said both Kushner and Trump Jr. would 'probably' be indicted, and John Dean said Trump Jr. was likely a target. An MSNBC 'AM Joy' legal panel named Kushner as Mueller's prime next target.

What actually happened

The predictions came in March, July and December 2018, framed by hosts as informed legal analysis. Neither man was charged. Mueller's report said his office declined campaign-finance charges over the Trump Tower meeting. A Reuters factbox listed both men among those who did not face charges and said Mueller recommended no further indictments.

The proof

Mueller's report and the Reuters factbox of Mar. 23, 2019 show neither Kushner nor Trump Jr. was indicted.
